2015 RIAA Honorees Matt Bomer and Simon Halls

Matt Bomer and Simon Halls are longtime supporters of and have served on the boards for several not-for-profit organizations including GLSEN, AIDS Project Los Angeles, Family Equality Council, American Fertility Association, Project Angel Food, Project ALS, and Naked Angels Theater Company.

Bomer currently stars on the hit series American Horror Story opposite Lady Gaga and Kathy Bates. He was nominated for an Emmy Award and won a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of Felix Turner in the Emmy Award–winning HBO film The Normal Heart. He starred for six seasons on the hit series White Collar, for which he won a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Cable TV Actor. He received the Steve Chase Award from the Desert AIDS Foundation for his humanitarian work and, with Halls, he received the Inspiration Award from GLSEN in 2013.   

Halls is a founding partner of Slate Public Relations and represents some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Ang Lee, Ridley Scott, Sam Mendes, Jude Law, Neil Patrick Harris, Ryan Murphy, and Tom Ford. Before co-founding Slate, Halls was the CEO of PMK HBH Public Relations. He served six years on the board of AIDS Project Los Angeles and was a founding director of the Youth AIDS Foundation. Currently, Halls sits on the board of Project ALS. He has received awards from GLSEN (with his husband) and from the American Fertility Association.

Bomer and Halls live in Los Angeles with their three sons, Kit, Walker, and Henry.
