Mike Frick

TB Project Co-Director

Mike is TB Project Co-Director in TAG's TB Project, where he conducts advocacy to support TB prevention research, including research to develop new TB vaccines and preventive therapies. As part of these efforts, he coordinates the Community Research Advisors Group, the community advisory board to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Tuberculosis Trials Consortium. In addition, Mike leads resource-tracking activities for TAG’s annual Report on Tuberculosis Research Funding Trends and works with activists, researchers, and policymakers to secure greater funding for TB research and development. Through this advocacy and writing, Mike is dedicated to better defining and applying the human right to enjoy the benefits of scientific progress and its applications to advance TB research and access.

Mike has a BA in international studies from Kenyon College, and an MSc in global health and population from the Harvard School of Public Health. In 2009, he was a Fulbright Fellow at Kunming Medical College in Yunnan, China.
