TB Project Officer

As TB project officer, David leads TAG’s advocacy to promote the development of improved TB diagnostic technologies, and equitable access to these technologies. He closely follows scientific advances relevant to the development and introduction of new TB diagnostics, creates resources to sensitize activists, policymakers and other stakeholders to these developments, and advances advocacy campaigns to promote equitable access to TB diagnostic testing according to the highest standard of care.

David joined TAG in 2019, after working as a researcher and journalist on issues of intellectual property, global health policy, and economic and social rights. He holds an MS in International Affairs from The New School, and has over a decade of experience supporting social and economic development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. In his free time, David makes films for NYC-based social movements, teaches bicycle mechanics to adults, and is a burgeoning printmaker.
