Deputy Executive Director
As Deputy Executive Director, Erica provides strategic direction across TAG’s operations, development, communications, finance, and human resources work. She works closely with TAG’s administrative and program staff, and with TAG’s executive director and Board, to ensure TAG’s operations, policies, and structure advance our mission. Erica joined TAG in 2011 as Assistant Director of TB/HIV, and moved on to becoming TB Director, then Deputy Executive Director of TB, then Deputy Executive Director of Programs, prior to her current role.
Previously, Erica held various research, program, and policy roles in HIV, tuberculosis, and harm reduction in New York City and Baltimore. She volunteered combatting sex trafficking in Nepal and started the Republic of Georgia’s first breast cancer peer-support program. Erica received her Master of Public Health as a Sommer Scholar at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and her Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University. Erica is a budding amateur mycologist, and loves foraging for, cooking, and eating mushrooms.
