Administrator
Since January 2005, Joe has served as TAG’s as administrator, a position encompassing office management, fiscal processing, and fundraising support. Joe’s involvement with TAG marked a transition from 27 years of nonprofit arts administration, involving theater production, company management and fund raising. He also worked as a professional casting director for stage, film, and television. Joe has published articles on casting and fundraising topics, and he has led national seminars on theater services for hearing-impaired and visually-impaired audiences.
Joe’s work at TAG builds on decades of volunteer support of political, HIV/AIDS, and LGBT causes. Beginning in 1984, Joe volunteered for ten years with the Buddy Program at Gay Men’s Health Crisis in New York, providing peer support to people with HIV/AIDS. He is married to award-winning theater writer and journalist Erik Haagensen.
