Supporting Treatment Action Group (TAG) through Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) empowers you to maximize the impact of your philanthropy. A Donor Advised Fund is a flexible giving vehicle that allows you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants from the fund over time.

How It Works

  1. Contribute to Your Donor Advised Fund: Make a tax-deductible contribution to your Donor Advised Fund. This initial donation establishes your charitable fund, which you can then use to support TAG and other charitable organizations.
  2. Recommend a Grant to TAG: Once your Donor Advised Fund is established, you can recommend a grant to be directed to TAG. By designating TAG as a recipient of your grant, you actively contribute to our mission of ending HIV, hepatitis C, and tuberculosis.
  3. Utilize TAG’s Information: When making a grant recommendation, provide the following information to ensure that your funds reach TAG effectively:
Organization Name: Treatment Action Group (TAG)
Address: 90 Broad Street, Suite 2503, New York, NY 10004
    Tax ID (EIN): 13-3624785
  4. Make an Impact: Your grant recommendation will support TAG’s critical advocacy, research engagement, and community programs. It enables us to drive scientific innovation, promote evidence-based policies, and improve access to life-saving treatments for those affected by these epidemics.

Why Donor Advised Funds Matter

Strategic Giving: Donor Advised Funds provide you with an opportunity to strategically plan your charitable giving. By contributing to your fund and recommending grants over time, you can make a lasting impact on the causes that matter to you.

Tax Benefits: Establishing and contributing to a Donor Advised Fund offers potential tax advantages. You receive an immediate tax deduction when you make the initial contribution, and future contributions grow tax-free, allowing you to potentially give more to support TAG’s work.

Flexibility and Control: With a Donor Advised Fund, you have the flexibility to recommend grants to TAG and other charitable organizations when it aligns with your giving strategy. You retain advisory privileges to direct funds while leveraging expert guidance from your fund’s administrators.

Engage Your Family: Donor Advised Funds can be a meaningful way to engage your family in philanthropy. You can involve loved ones in the decision-making process, cultivating a culture of giving and making a collective impact on the causes that inspire you.

We sincerely appreciate your consideration of supporting TAG through your Donor Advised Fund. Your contribution will make a tangible and lasting difference in our fight against HIV, hepatitis C, and tuberculosis, bringing us closer to a future where these epidemics no longer threaten global health.
