HIV Community Engagement Manager

Antar Bush the most recent team member to join TAG in January 2024 as the HIV Community Engagement Manager, this includes identifying external stakeholders to build community partnerships. Antar comes to with over 20 years of HIV public health experience, and before joining TAG he was the Regional Director of HIV, Care, and Policy at the Institute for Family Health in Harlem, New York. In addition, Antar is an adjunct professor at Fordham and West Chester University where he teaches non-profit management, mental health social policy, and LGBTQ Across the Lifespan.

Antar’s belief is that the world is built on the strength of communities. Having this view of the world propelled him to focus on underserved populations; ethnic and cultural minorities, the kinky/poly/queer communities, and victims of economic hardship. His signature combination of warmth, humor, and compassion allows people of all backgrounds to improve their relationships and live the lives they desire.
