Grant Officer
Jake joined TAG in May 2026 as Grant Officer, creating and managing grant initiatives and systems to support TAG’s 34 years of leadership in research and policy advocacy to end the epidemics of HIV, tuberculosis (TB), and hepatitis C virus (HCV). Before joining TAG, his experience spanned major-gift and grant-based fundraising for a youth services nonprofit, frontline development for higher education institutions, and a stint in Taiwan teaching English and studying Mandarin.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies with minors in Economics and Communications from McGill University in Montreal, where he also earned a C1 French language certification from the government of Quebec. Originally from Long Island, Jake has called New York City home since 2024, and firmly maintains that Long Island pizza and bagels are superior. A passionate traveler, he enjoys exploring other cultures, languages, and cuisines, and spends his free time discovering the city with friends and family.
