TB Programmatic Communications Coordinator
Taran K. Deol joined TAG in September 2026 as the TB Programmatic Communications Coordinator. In her role, she supports and amplifies the work of TAG’s fast-moving and far-reaching TB team, advancing communications that help build awareness, strengthen advocacy, and accelerate progress toward ending TB.
She graduated from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with an MSPH specializing in health systems in low- and middle-income countries. Prior to graduate school, Taran worked as a health journalist in India, reporting on the COVID-19 pandemic and global health.
In her free time, Taran enjoys cooking, reading, and writing. Beyond TB, she is passionate about making the health case for climate mitigation and adaptation, bringing together her journalism and storytelling experience with her academic understanding of the climate–health nexus.
