August 27, 2019 – This policy brief was developed by TAG and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF), and it details how children with TB are affected by the pediatric research exemption for orphan drugs. The brief also proposes policy solutions to ensure that benefits of research and development are extended to children who need treatment for neglected or orphan diseases.
