Join us on Sunday, June 28th for the 2026 Pride Health Fair: MONEY FOR AIDS + HEALTHCARE — NOT FOR ICE + WARFARE
U.S. taxpayers demand an end to government funding for ICE and warfare. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has made historic cuts to healthcare, slashing over $1 trillion from Medicaid, $500 billion from Medicare, and more than $20 billion from research funding, while simultaneously advancing a proposed $1.5 trillion military budget and more than $75 billion to expand ICE operations.
For LGBTQIA+ communities, immigrants, people living with HIV/AIDS, and marginalized communities, the diversion of public resources away from care and toward punishment, violence, and war is not new.
In 1991, ACT UP’s Day of Desperation protests declared: “MONEY FOR AIDS, NOT FOR WARFARE.” Thirty-five years later, as healthcare, science, immigrant communities, and human rights continue to be attacked, the demand is no longer symbolic — it is an urgent call for survival.
This year marks our 6th Annual Pride Health Fair — a necessary act of political resistance in response to escalating attacks on healthcare, science, immigrants, LGBTQIA+ communities, and human dignity.
We are bringing together hospital systems, clinics, researchers, legal advocates, mutual aid groups, and community organizations to provide direct services to LGBTQIA+ communities during Pride.
As healthcare becomes increasingly inaccessible and unaffordable, this event remains a vital opportunity to provide care while building solidarity and community power.
We invite you to join us and experience all the community offers this Pride season, including:
• On-site testing and vaccinations
• HIV/STI services
• Provider consultations
• Affordable healthcare navigation
• Harm reduction resources
• Mental health support
• Housing support
• Legal services for immigrants and vulnerable communities
• Research and science outreach
• Community education and advocacy
