Director of Development

Chris Armstrong is TAG’s director of development. Chris oversees development and fundraising operations for TAG.

Before joining TAG, Chris served as the special gifts officer for the University of Michigan, developing a capital campaign for the first LGBT Center of its kind in the country on a college campus. Prior to that Chris worked for a variety of non-profit organizations including Small Business Majority and Organizing for Action where he oversaw outreach to national partner organizations in Washington, D.C., with a focus on healthcare advocacy. Prior to that, he worked in the Obama administration as part of the Hurricane Sandy Rebuilding Task Force, managing outreach to local elected officials in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Chris is also an alum of the 2012 Obama for America campaign.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys writing and performing stand-up comedy, where he’s had the opportunity to perform at Gotham Comedy Club.
