ACT NOW END AIDS (ANEA) Coalition Director

De’Ashia Lee joined TAG in 2022 as the Act Now End AIDS (ANEA) coalition director, providing operational, administrative and communications support to ANEA to foster community leadership. She has worked in infectious disease and public health for nearly 10 years, and has varied interest in public policy, epidemiology, infectious disease, public health, and health education. Formally trained as an immunologist, De’Ashia holds a master’s degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Prior to joining TAG, De’Ashia served as the COMPASS Program Manager for the Southern AIDS Coalition and the Capacity Building and Technical Assistance Coordinator for the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. In her free time, De’Ashia enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants, practicing Spanish, and going on walks with her dog.
