This article, Infections Post-inequalities: Realizing the End of Tuberculosis Through Equitable Economic Orders, explores TB as a proxy metric for the failure to dismantle colonial structures in global health and to realize the rights to health and science. Fundamentally, the paper calls for reforming the international financial architecture along the lines of equity to advance the decolonization project in global health. Senior TB Program Associate Erin McConnell argues that the end of TB (and HIV and HCV) cannot be achieved without acknowledging the role of the international financial architecture in shaping health outcomes and dismantling the systems to create inequity within and between nations.
